Privacy Policy

Eaverly ("we," "us") makes a home-maintenance app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. By using Eaverly you agree to this policy.

What we collect

You give us:

• Name and email — to create your account, save your plan, and (if you opt in) send product updates.
• Home profile — home type, age, climate, the systems you track, ages you set, and quiz answers. This is the core of your personalized plan.
• Photos you choose to capture — data-plate photos of appliances. The image is sent to our AI provider to read the brand/model/year, then is not retained by us beyond processing.
• Questions you ask "Ask Beverly" — the text (and any photo you attach) is sent to our AI provider to generate an answer.

Collected automatically (only if you enable the feature):

• Approximate location — only if you turn on Weather-aware alerts, and only to fetch your local forecast. We do not store a location history.
• Usage analytics — anonymous events (e.g., "task completed," "paywall viewed") to understand how the app is used. No names or addresses are attached to analytics events.

We do not collect payment card numbers (subscriptions, when available, are handled by Apple/Google and their payment processor), and we do not sell your data.

How we use it

To provide and personalize your maintenance plan, send the reminders and alerts you enable, answer your questions, back up your data so it survives a phone swap, maintain and improve the app, and communicate with you.

Who we share it with (service providers)

• Supabase — secure cloud storage of your account, plan backup, and mailing list.
• Anthropic (Claude) — processes data-plate photos and Ask Beverly questions to generate responses.
• U.S. National Weather Service — receives only coordinates to return a forecast; receives no personal identifiers.
• Apple / Google — app distribution and, when available, subscription billing.
• Analytics provider — anonymous usage events (provider to be named at launch).

We share only what each provider needs, and we do not sell personal information.

Data retention & your choices

• Your plan and account persist until you delete them. You can request deletion of your account and data by contacting us (see below), or from within the app.
• You can disable location and notifications at any time in your device settings or in the app's Reminders screen.
• You can unsubscribe from product emails at any time.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Eaverly is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be noted in the app or by email.
