Terms of Service
Last updated: June 22, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Eaverly app. By using Eaverly you agree to them.
1. What Eaverly is — and isn't
Eaverly provides general, informational home-maintenance guidance, schedules, and reminders based on the details you give us. It is not professional advice and not a substitute for a licensed inspector, contractor, electrician, plumber, or HVAC technician.
- Always use your own judgment and hire a qualified professional for work that requires one (gas, major electrical, structural, sewer, roof, etc.).
- Safety: Eaverly does not handle emergencies. If you believe you have an immediate safety hazard, contact the appropriate qualified professional or your local authorities yourself. Eaverly's alerts and answers are not emergency services.
- Cost figures and intervals are estimates and ranges; actual costs and conditions vary by home, region, and time.
2. Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity under your account. Keep your login/email details current.
3. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app: no unlawful use, no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, and no using the AI features to generate harmful or abusive content. We may suspend access for violations.
4. AI features
"Ask Beverly" and data-plate reading use AI and can be wrong or incomplete. Verify anything important before acting on it. Usage may be rate-limited (the free tier includes a limited number of AI questions per month).
5. Subscriptions (when available)
Eaverly is currently free, and Pro features are unlocked at no charge while the app is in beta. We may introduce an optional paid Eaverly Pro subscription later; if we do, it would be an auto-renewing subscription billed through the App Store / Google Play, with the price shown before you buy.
- Billing, renewals, and cancellations are handled by the App Store / Google Play.
- A subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel it in your app-store account settings.
- Trials convert to paid unless canceled before the trial ends.
6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eaverly is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for property damage, loss, or injury arising from reliance on the app's guidance. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
7. Changes & termination
We may update these Terms or the app, and may suspend or end the service. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States.
